Hensley Daniel has contributed thirteen very productive years in the management of social programs within the Nevis Island Administration. In the years Hensley worked for the government, he demonstrated certain key abilities that have prepared him to serve you as part of the new government. His ability to work within a team was uniquely confirmed when he immovable in his department even in the face of severe adversity, in the form of victimization from the Government. Mr. Daniel continued to serve out of sheer love of his country and its young people. In fact he was forced to retire when he was transferred from his first love social services. He felt that his energy to help the youth was under-utilized in the area to which he had been transferred.
His compassion for the youth of this country did not wane when he finally retired from his government job to serve in the private sector. He continued his track record of twenty-seven (27) years experiences in voluntary and community services in his community and island wide. He served in community clubs and set up classes to teach technical skills such as computers to Nevisian youth and adults from all walks of life. He also taught when necessary, proving his ability to direct social development projects from concept to fully operational status.

"Nevis this is not about me...it's about YOU: Your right...to a government that has your interest at heart more than their own personal gain. I speak to your right to buy land at the same price as the government officials; your right to know how and when your country spends your tax dollars. Your right to audited accounts on a no less than a bi-annual basis, your right to an audit department that function;, your right to people in positions who are qualified to be there and who get the job done; your right as Nevisians to fill the top jobs in your own country and most importantly your right to live in a TRUE democracy where you will not be victimized for neither your political, nor personal, nor religious views. I speak to your right; Nevisians'to INCLUSION, COOPERATION and RECONCILIATION from your government... a Government that has YOUR rights and interest at heart".
